Register a Sender ID through local routes if your company has a UAE trade license. Otherwise, register a transactional Sender ID through international routes.

Register through local routes
Email the request to [email protected]. Local registration has two phases.
Phase 1: Activate an operator portal
Activate either the CMS portal (Etisalat portal) or the ESP portal (Du portal). Provide:
- A UAE trade license with at least 1 month of remaining validity.
- The applicable portal documents:
- Original copies of the authorized person's Emirates ID, passport, and visa. The authorized person must be the person named on the NOC.
- An establishment card or power or letter of attorney (POA/LOA) if the NOC signatory differs from the trade-license owner or if the license lists more than one partner.

Phase 2: Activate the Sender ID
- Request the Sender ID in the activated CMS or ESP portal.
- After approval, record the unique Blockchain ID assigned to the Sender ID.
- Complete the applicable NOC letters:
- If you activated ESP, add the Entity ID to the Du form.
- Provide Unifonic with the Blockchain ID.
Local Sender ID rules
- Promotional Sender IDs must begin with AD-.
- Transactional and promotional Sender IDs must contain 3 to 11 characters.
- Allowlist every URL before including it in message content. Unapproved URLs can cause delivery failure. Public shorteners such as bit.ly and cutt.ly are blocked for all users.
- Medical Sender IDs require approval from UAE health authorities.
- Real-estate companies require RERA approval documents (شهادة تسجيل مكتب عقاري).
- A visa is not required for GCC citizens.
Register through international routes
If your company does not have a UAE trade license, email the following to [email protected]:
- A valid trade license or commercial registration in English or translated into English.
- Completed NOC letters:
- The signatory's passport and ID.
- A POA/LOA if the NOC signatory differs from the trade-license owner or if the license lists more than one partner.
