Getting Started with the Admin Guide
What the Admin Guide covers, and where initial account setup lives instead.
Overview
The Admin Guide covers day-to-day configuration for Account Admins once your Contact Center account is already set up — teams, skills, users, and settings. For the initial account setup (connecting channels, creating your first users, linking the chatbot handover), see Contact Center Setup.
You need an Account Admin role on the Unifonic Cloud
(UC) Platform to use this guide. If you only see agent-facing screens, ask your Account Admin to
grant this role from
UC Platform > Settings > Account > Teams.Roles
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Account Admin | Full configuration access: teams, skills, users, routing, reporting, integrations. Super-user of the platform. |
| Supervisor | Admin-level rights scoped to the team(s) they supervise: reports, configuration, and admin functions within those teams only. |
| Agent (Account User) | Handles conversations. Access limited to the chat panel and profile pages. |
An Admin who wants to receive chats must also add themselves as an agent
inside a team — the Admin role alone does not route conversations to them.

What's changed
July 2026 — Trimmed: the full setup path and roles-in-teams detail moved to the new top-level Contact Center Setup and Contact Center Overview pages, to remove duplication. This page now scopes strictly to the Admin Guide's own contents.
