Before sending a campaign, you need to create a template and get approval from Meta. You can create a campaign from the Channels section on the Unifonic cloud. For complete instructions on how to create a carousel message, please refer to... creating a carousel template

Carousel template explained

Carousel templates allow you to send a single text message accompanied by a set of up to 10 carousel cards in a horizontally scrollable view. A carousel message consists of the elements shown in the picture below.

Message Bubble

A message bubble is required. Message bubble is text-only and supports variables. It should be a maximum of 1024 characters.

Carousel Cards

Carousel templates support up to 10 carousel cards. Cards must have a media header (image or video), body text, and at least one button. Supports a maximum of 2 buttons. Buttons can be the same or a mix of quick reply buttons, phone number buttons, or URL buttons.

Maximum character limits

Do not exceed the following character limits, as it will cause message delivery failure: -

• Message bubble: 1024 characters
• Card body: 160 characters

Important

• The media header format and button types must be the same across all cards that make up a carousel template.
• Media assets will be cropped to a wide ratio based on the customer's device.
• The template must be created from the Channels tab and approved by Meta before creating a campaign.

Sending a campaign using a carousel template

Map Variables

If you have any variables in the message, you need to map the variables with the relevant values from the recipient file, contacts, or Audience based on the source of contacts. For more details on variables, please refer to message variables

Upload Media

You need to provide the corresponding media file for every card containing a media file. You can provide a direct download link to the media file or use a file upload service to upload the media. For more details on media upload service, please refer to Uploading meadia

Optionally, you can configure the quick reply button's payload if you require. For more details on media upload service, please refer to Customise Quick Reply Buttons

Congratulations! You are now ready to send the campaign using the carousel template.
