Both KSA and UAE regulators have anti-SPAM policies and protections in place to reduce SPAM messages, meaning any electronic, or mobile text message (SMS, MMS, Flash SMS, Email, Voice, or Fax) that is sent without the recipient providing consent, or being able to unsubscribe.
This is limited to marketing or promotional messages. On the other hand, Transactional messages, such as notices, warnings, system alerts, general services or awareness messages, are therefore excluded from SPAM.
