Creating your first flow from scratch

Create a flow from scratch when you want to define its trigger, widgets, parameters, and paths yourself.

Before you begin

Activate the required channels and prepare their applications and resources.

Create the flow

1. Log in to the Unifonic platform and open Flow Studio.
2. On the dashboard, select Start a Fresh Flow. Alternatively, open My Flows and select Create.
3. Review the automatically generated flow and its default name.

4. Select the required trigger to open the Flow Studio canvas.

Choose the trigger carefully Review each trigger description before selecting one. You cannot change the trigger after selection.

5. Configure the trigger parameters and select Save.
6. Connect the required widgets, configure each widget, and select Save for each configuration.

7. Select Save as draft to save without activating the flow.
8. Select Publish, and then select Done to activate the flow.
9. To test the active flow, select Test, enter the required variables, and select Execute.

Live test A test is a live execution. Messages and calls configured in the flow are sent during testing.
